Eleni’s is the bistro located on the ground floor of the Civic Hotel and is open during the week for lunch.Eleni, (mother of Peter Conistis – head chef of Civic Dining) serves up traditional Greek-style food at a great price and has recently been awarded the Editor’s Pick: Favourite Bargain Award in the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide.
Eleni’s moussaka is quickly becoming her signature dish - traditional moussaka with layers of eggplant, potato and minced lamb with horiatiki (Greek salad) served on the side.
